"Empty Shell" is about almost throwing in the towell. I had become lazy as a producer, not expanding on designing my sound and repeating the same mistakes. I was trying to become something I wasn't and after a while shelved the project. But I always had this itch to keep progressing with what I was doing and after half a year I picked up from where I started.

It's felt like an eternity
I've climbed but I've been dragged down
Trying to pick myself off the ground

I'm just an empty shell
Cursed for what I couldn't see
Repeating the same mistakes
Haunted by what was use to be me

For years I have shown regret
I've lost and I can't forget

I'll climb till I've reached the top
